1. How long will our cheeses last?

The majority of our cheddars come with 3 - 9 months Best Before date on them. Other cheeses vary so please see the features section of each product.

Once you break the seal on your cheeses we recommend consuming them within 10 - 14 days.

2. Can I freeze the cheese?

You can freeze the majority of our cheeses too. They can be frozen for up to 6 months and keep their structure & flavour. We recommend defrosting in a fridge overnight so the cheese holds its moisture. 

3. Why are your cheese truckles waxed?

Our wax seal preserves flavour and keeps the cheese moist—plus it’s super easy to cut. Remove the wax before serving.  

4. How should I store cheese?

Keep fridge temperature below 5 °C. Cheese is best stored in a fridge, ideally in a cheese drawer. We advise keeping it in a separate drawer from other items. Such as, sealed to ensure any bacteria from the other items does not transfer to the cheese. 

Wrap hard cheeses in cling film; soft ones in cheese paper or parchment—store these in containers.

Avoid the fridge door—temperature varies there.  

5. Can I include a gift message?

Add a gift message at checkout—our delivery notes never include pricing.  

6. Where’s my parcel and what about tracking info?

We aim to deliver within 2–5 working days once dispatched.  

You’ll receive an email with tracking details—allow up to 8 hrs post-collection.  

Dispatch and delivery dates are for guidance purposes only – whilst we will always try our utmost to meet them, please be aware that they are not a guarantee.

7. What are shipping costs?

Delivery for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland is £3.99 for orders under £30, and free for orders over £30. Please note we do not ship to Isle of Man or Jersey.

8. What if something’s wrong or I want a return?

Contact us within 24 hours of receipt via email or phone—you may be asked for photos.  

Faulty goods must be returned within 30 days, with ice packs and original packaging, using 24-hour tracked service.  

9. Where can I find allergen information?

Detailed allergen and ingredient lists are available on each individual product’s page.  

10. How do I build the perfect cheeseboard?

We recommend 3–5 cheeses covering hard, soft, and blue styles—don’t crowd the plate.  

We recommend a good port or wine and lots of accompaniments such as pickles, chutney, olives & bread—see our Beginner’s Guide to Pairings for inspiration!  

11. I have a query, can customer services help?

Yes, our customer services team are always happy to help. They are available Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, excluding Bank Holidays. Please note replies typically take 24-48 hours.

12. Is there a Chuckling Cheese discount code?

If we have any promotions running, you can usually find details of these on our social media accounts. You can receive a 10% off code when you sign up to our newsletter - you can do this on the bottom of our website!

13. Ordering for Key Dates of the Year

If you order after the Valentine's Day delivery cut off of midnight Monday 9th February 2026, your order may not arrive in time.

If you order after the Mother's Day delivery cut off of 11am Tuesday 10th March 2026, your order may not arrive in time. 

If you order after the Easter delivery cut off of 11am Tuesday 31st March 2026, your order may not arrive in time.

If you order after the Father's Day delivery cut off of 11am Wednesday 17th June, 2026, your order may not arrive in time.

If you order after the Christmas delivery cut off of 11am Wednesday 16th December 2026, your order may not arrive in time.

15. I have a question about a discount code?

Promotion codes issued by The Chuckling Cheese Company are subject to specific terms and conditions. Codes must be entered at checkout to be valid and cannot be applied retrospectively. In some cases items may need to be added to the cart to be claimed as a free or discounted item. Unless otherwise stated, promotion codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts. Only one code may be used per transaction. Certain products, bundles, or delivery charges may be excluded from promotions.

All promotions are subject to availability and stock levels may vary. Promotion codes are valid for a limited time only and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice. The Chuckling Cheese Company reserves the right to cancel or refuse the use of any promotion code where misuse, fraud, or breach of these terms is suspected.

16. Delivery to Business Addresses



Please note that if you choose delivery to a business or commercial address, you are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the order during the selected delivery window. Our delivery windows can run anytime between 7am–10pm. If a business closes before the end of the selected delivery window or if delays occur and nobody is available to accept the order, we cannot accept liability for missed deliveries, spoiled products, or refunds/replacements.
