Ingredients:

- Ready-rolled Puff Pastry
- Munchie Mouse Mature Cheddar Cheese Truckle
- Chuckling Caramelised Onion Chutney
- Garlic Granules
- Black Pepper
- 6 Sausages (we used Boston Sausage from our Skegness Store)
- 1 Egg

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6.

  2. Skin your sausages and place the sausage meat into your mixing bowl.

  3. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic granules, and a pinch of black pepper.

  4. Either in a separate bowl, or directly onto the sausage meat, grate the entire Munchie Mouse Mature Cheddar Cheese Truckle.

  5. Mix the sausage meat and cheddar thoroughly ensuring it has combined, and set aside.

  6. Sprinkle a little plain flour onto your work surface and place your ready-rolled puff pastry on top with the long edge against you.

  7. Cut your pastry long ways to your desired width (we cut ours three ways), in which you will be able to place the sausage meat and fold over the pastry to join edges.

  8. Divide the sausage mixture in three and spread along the length of each pastry strip in a cylinder shape, leaving a 1cm edge.

  9. Top your sausage mixture with a thin layer of the Chuckling Caramelised Onion Chutney.

  10. Tightly roll the pastry around the sausage meat and enclose the edges so the ingredients do not escape. (If any excess chutney oozes out, wipe this away.)

  11. In a small bowl beat your egg, and use your pastry brush to brush the beaten egg on the edges of the sausage roll.

  12.  Place your rolls onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, and pop into the oven for 30-35 minutes.

  13. Remove from the oven, and leave to cool for a few minutes before using a knife to cut the rolls into 7-9 pieces.

  14. Present the pieces together, and enjoy!
