Goods are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and offer an alternative. If the alternative is not suitable then a full refund will be given if you have already paid for the goods.
We highly recommend you provide us with a correct e-mail address. In this case we will send you an order acknowledgement e-mail. This email does not constitute either a confirmation of the order or acceptance by us of the order.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order we will then have entered into a contract, regardless of whether we may have debited your card or sent an acknowledgment e-mail.
The contract will be formed at the place of dispatch of the goods, namely the UK.
If you decide to register with us to purchase items using The Chuckling Cheese Co. website, you will responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password and for preventing unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please take all necessary steps to ensure that the username and password is kept confidential and secure. Please inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your username and/or password has become known to anyone else, or are being, or are likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure the details you provide us with on registration are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to those details (e.g. change of email or postal address). You can access and update your registration details by 'logging in' on the site.
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
Products are invoiced in GBP sterling at the price prevailing at the time you place your order and are not inclusive of delivery fees unless otherwise stated.
All prices displayed on the Website include Value Added Tax (VAT) which will be charged at the current rate when applicable.
Although we try to ensure that all prices on the Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.
We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the Website from time to time.
You may pay for the items which you order from our online store with most major credit & debit cards using our secure online checkout.
We also accept Paypal as an option for checkout. To use this method please select the Paypal logo during the checkout process.
We aim to deliver all orders within 2 working days subject to stock availability, and no longer than 5 working days.
You will be notified by email the day your order is shipped.
Our delivery times are for guidance and are not a guarantee. We cannot take responsibility for length of delivery time once an item is dispatched from us to our carrier. If relevant you will be sent a tracking code for you to see what stage your parcel is at in the delivery process.
If your order is a gift we will send it as quickly as possible and therefore, in the rare event of any specific cheese stock shortage we may substitute a cheese with a like for like replacement so as not to delay the shipment.
If you wish to choose a prefered delivery date for a parcel you can do so during the checkout process. We will do our utmost to ensure the parcel arrives on or before this date. Please take note of days we do operate deliveries on below.
Delivery is sent overnight from us on a 24-48 hour tracked service. In most cases a signature is not required to acknowledge delivery. In order to give your cheese the best chance of getting to you in optimum condition we highly recommend adding a note in the box provided in the checkout of a suitable place to leave the order if you are not in or an alternative delivery address such as a nearby neighbour. NB this must be in the same street or within the immediate vicinity since a delivery to an extra address will be liable to an extra fee.
Delivery is working days & Saturdays.
Delivery is made to the delivery address provided during checkout. If you find you have made an input error please contact us immediately. If your order has already been shipped we will try to have it redirected however any redirection costs incurred will be passed on. Parcels sent to an incorrect address due to input error by the customer will not be refundable and a replacement may be charged at full price. If we can arrange collection from the error address we will do so at the cost of the customer.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer care team at email@example.com or by telephone on 01754 768120 between 09:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday, . As we try to process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched, you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted only if the goods are damaged. You must inform us within 24 hours from receipt by email or phone. We may request you return the item(s) to us in original, complete and undamaged packaging. If the item has not been returned to us in the original condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. All returned goods must be accompanied by the delivery slip that accompanied the consignment.
In the case of damaged, faulty or goods mistakenly shipped, a receipt for the return postage should be included within the package for the cost to be refunded. Alternatively you maybe able to forward us images of the damage, fault or mistakenly shipped item/s and we can resolve the issue.

None of the above terms affects your statutory rights if goods are damaged or incorrectly supplied nor does it affect your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.
We will not be responsible to you or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data or goodwill) or any other loss or damage which does not result directly from our actions or the actions of our sub-contractors or suppliers, is consequential or was not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when the contract between us was formed.
Our liability to you under these terms and conditions will not exceed the total price charged for the items purchased. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
Cheese Subscription Terms & Conditions
9.01Cheese Subscription Product Description
Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only, and products may vary from the pictures shown as Cheese Subscription products are alternated on a monthly basis, and differ depending on the cheese subscription type. We will never indicate which products may be included in your upcoming subscription, however, in such instances, we reserve the right to include cheeses which have not been indicated or explicitly referred to by us. Product preferences will only be guaranteed if an alternative cheese subscription box has been purchased i.e., gluten free box, or no blue cheese box. All cheese subscription boxes include up to 725g of cheese, however, whilst we will always strive to deliver subscriptions as close to the guideline weight as possible, as this is a guideline, the weight may vary. We are unfortunately unable to provide refunds for complaints regarding the weight guidelines of this product.
9.02 Payment for Cheese Subscriptions
3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 12 month subscriptions must be paid for in advance at the time of ordering. Refunds cannot be given on the subscription once the first box has been delivered. Your cheese subscription box will be processed each month on the date you placed the initial order.
9.03 Payment for Monthly Subscriptions
Payment for monthly (rolling) subscriptions will be taken from the credit/debit card used for the initial subscription payment. Payment will be taken on the same day each month, based on the date you placed the initial order. Monthly subscriptions must be cancelled 1 week before your payment date, and your monthly delivery cannot be cancelled after this time. If monthly subscriptions are cancelled at least 1 week in advance of the billing date, it will be cancelled free of charge. To cancel your subscription please contact us at email@example.com
