Intense Vintage Baked Egg


This classic breakfast dish is one of King Charles favourites and extremely easy to create! Made using our intense 3 and a half year aged vintage to give the dish a mature taste.

You will need: 

  • 2 small baking dishes

  • A knife

  • A chopping board

 

Ingredients:

  • 100g Chuckling Cheese Intense Vintage Cheddar

  • 4 Eggs

  • 60g Small Plum Tomatoes

  • 60g Spinach

  • Drizzle of oil

  • Salt & Black Pepper

  • Crusty Bread

 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.

  2. Chop up your tomatoes and spinach and add to evenly to a small baking dish, drizzle with a little oil.

  3. Crack two eggs on top and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Grate over Chuckling Cheese Intense Vintage.

  5. Place in the oven for 7-11 minutes depending on how runny you'd like your yolk.

  6. Carefully take out and serve with some warm crusty bread for dunking, and enjoy!
